Osorno's note does not detail what plans, if any, Sony has to assist developers who were impacted by the outage.
In some cases, that impact has been substantial. Capcom corporate officer and SVP Christian Svensson, for instance, has previously estimated the company's lost revenue from the outage as being in the "hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars."

The April attack on Sony's PlayStation Network by unidentified hackers may have been an attempt to "punish" the company, but it is also hurting game creators such as Capcom, according to the company.
Speaking out against the attackers on the company's forums, Capcom corporate officer and SVP Christian Svensson said that the PlayStation Network downtime is costing the company "hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars" in revenue that the company was expecting in its budgetary plans.
"These are funds we rely on to bring new games to market for our fans," he explained, saying that the hackers are "punishing millions of other consumers and businesses" in their attempt to punish Sony.
Sony expects PSN and other Sony network services to be fully back online by May 31. PSN has been down since April 20.
