Behind The Music Wth YTCRACKER Keepin it Nerdy Nice! Some More Geektastic Tunes from YTCRACKER and Crew!

http://www.ytcracker.com/v2011/

-YT CRACKER-
BEHIND THE MUSIC!

the story behind the music video for “the link”

i began pondering the concept of this video while i was very scientific with my buddy lieutenant wombat at his apartment. i gave a brain dump of my ideas in a decidedly disheveled and cryptic email to doctor octoroc, who executed the animation all by himself based on my shitty design document. the resulting piece of art blew my mind.
i wanted an alien civilization that somehow received my music through a giant antenna and basically lived their entire lives as if my music was the gospel of their people. to honor me, the aliens all wear white hats and engage in various activities that i have rapped about in the past. the video begins in a speaker, thumping to ye olde bass drum by my partner in crime, dicepticon (the other half of wisely syndicate and frequent collaborator). as the music plays, the sound waves travel out of the solar system and to my adoring fans a billion galaxies away.
the underpinning theme of the video is that nerd life is a productive, amazing, and totally righteous way to exist. a pastiche of images illustrating these aliens doing digital gangster ass shit coupled with the visage of my attractive 8-bit face rapping on every big screen in every building follows the lyrical content of the song. you see aliens playing video games, going to holographic ytcracker concerts, recording songs, djing, spamming, flying spaceships, etc. they are all having an amazing time.
during the first hook, an oil leak occurs off of the coast, ruining the ocean and killing the sea life. this is in reference to the bp disaster that took place last year. instead of being tied up in bureaucratic red tape and bullshit (like it was here in the US), a council of alien scientists convene and discuss how to address the problem. after a brief deliberation, the scientists decide to throw bales of marijuana into the oil-infested waters to soak up the rude crude. crisis averted.
the cinematics during the second hook reference the eyjafjallajökull (ay-ya-fyalla-yokel, lol mouthful) volcano in iceland last year that grounded flights in europe. three well-known nintendo heroes (link, mario, and megaman) come to visit me as if i were the wizard of oz. after i entrust the group with godly elemental powers (in the form of colored and inscribed coins, no less), the brave warriors ascend to the top of an erupting volcano. the nerd life heroes unify their abilities and work together to extinguish the flame, completing their quest and gaining x levels.
at this point, the video rapidly zooms out, replaying the sequence of events in reverse. PLEASE NOTE: this is before the movie inception came out. i will be suing christopher nolan in the near future for his transgressions because i am the one who invented things in things in things in things. the final planetary shot is of a couple bosses sitting in the antenna/broadcast/receiver building control room, monitoring the entire population of the planet. from here, the music video zooms out into a macro view of various galaxies, showing other civilizations receiving and relaying the nerd life broadcast to the end music of the game “kung-fu.”
finally, the screen slowly fades into the speaker from whence our journey started, because the universe is in a speaker. deep, man – real deep.
“a fucking egotistical video, this is.” – yoda

jace hall feat. ytcracker – lol money

mc frontalot – zero day (f. dual core and ytcracker)

this video is inspired (or loosely based, rather) on john stamos’s career up to and ending with his run on the popular television series “full house” as uncle jesse. i think you’ll find we’ve compiled a fairly accurate account of the statements made in mr. stamos’s own memoirs.

Hackers leak Citigroup CEO’s personal data after Occupy Wall Street arrests

The mobile phone number and home address of Vikram Pandit, the chief executive of Citigroup, have been placed on the web by hacking group CabinCr3w in retaliation for the cuffing of protesters at an Occupy Wall Street demo. The hackers said in a statement online that they had accessed the data - which also included family information and some financial figures - and uploaded it online in response to events during the recent anti-bank protests on Wall Street."During Occupy Wall Street [protests], protesters had made way to CitiBank to withdraw their funds and close their accounts. They were met with strong police prescence [sic] and arrested," CabinCr3w wrote. "We as american citizens MUST have full control over our money and lively hood[sic].When this is taken away from us, what else do we have? So the CEO of CitiBank has blindly jumped into the sights of the CabinCr3w".PLast week, Pandit said he would be happy to meet with Occupy Wall Street protesters, who blame the financial sector for the bad economy, and oppose its influence on US politics and said he understood their concerns. CabinCr3w is responsible for data dumps on other bankers as part of the protest movement, including the CEOs of JP Morgan Chase and

Goldman Sachs, as well as a New York police

officer who sprayed pepper spray into

protesters faces.

We hacked Sony once again 4 the lulz of it PS HOME BANNING IS REASON ENOUGH GLASSWALLS HAHAHA...- 93,000 accounts compromised with brute-force attack

warning users against a massive bruteforce

attack against PlayStation and Sony network

accounts. The attack – which used password and

user ID combinations from an unidentified third-

party source – (waves)

succeeded in compromising 60,000 PlayStation

Network and 33,000 Sony Online Entertainment

network accounts. These accounts have been

locked and passwords reset.

The attack took place between October 7 and 10 and succeeded in matching valid sign-in IDs. According to a blog post by Philip Reitinger, Sony's Chief Information Security Officer, credit card details were not compromised. Both the motive for the latest attack against Sony network users and the identity of the perpetrator(s) remains unclear. Sony shut down its PlayStation Network in April in the aftermath of a far more damaging hack attack. The service wasn't restored until a month later. Personal information on 77 million account-holders was exposed as a result of the April PlayStation hack. Details including names, addresses, passwords and purchase histories was exposed by the megahack.

Robert Doyle and #Occupy Melbourne update

What's going on?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-U_FNUnuRv8&feature=related

On September 17, just weeks ago, people from all across the United States joined the social movement that has been spreading throughout the world against the blatant injustices perpetuated by the 1% (economic and political elite) whose actions affect all of us, the 99%. They spoke out, resisted and successfully occupied Wall Street, New York, along with more than 50 other cities in the United States.

Today they proudly remain engaged in non-violent civil disobedience while building solidarity based on mutual respect, recognition and compassion. On October 15 people in all corners of the world will unite in a global demonstration to claim our right to a true democracy and the power to determine our future.

Why Occupy Melbourne?

We face similar problems with our democracy here in Victoria and Australia as people face in most other developed nations. Our democracy is unwell. Our elected representatives no longer represent their constituents, instead their ears are turned by wealthy lobby groups, whilst the common interests of the people they were elected to represent, are ignored. Some levels of our government are also rife with corruption.

It's time our elected representatives actually started representing the 99% of the population who don't have enormous wealth and political influence. Who suffer the social, economic and environmental consequences of corporate greed. Who work to generate enormous wealth for a mere 1% of the population.

Inspired by the actions of those striving for democracy in North Africa and the Middle East, and similar demonstrations throughout Europe and more recently, in the United States. From these events, "Occupy Together", a global social movement for real democracy, has grown. It is from this global movement that Occupy Melbourne has grown.

How will it work?

The people of Melbourne will begin occupying the public space of City Square from October 15 onwards.

Some of them will drop in for an hour, others will stay for a workshop or a bite to eat, others might stay for a General Assembly, many will camp and spend the night, others will call City Square home for weeks, months, as long as it takes.

The people of Melbourne will be running a Speakers Forum, there will be General Assemblies based on the Occupy Wall St model, we will be running Workshops where we can have broad discussions on politics, education, equality, the environment, and Working Groups will facilitate media, logistics, food, equipment, and other tasks.
This will be a peaceful occupation of public space. It will be alcohol and drug-free.

City Square is our square. The streets of Melbourne are our streets. They will be our home within our home, as we strive for a more equitable and representative democracy, capable of progressively taking us beyond the 21st century.

Will this be a defining moment for the western world in the 21st century? It's up to you.

Who got this started?

The people of Melbourne. Occupy Melbourne is not affiliated with any political party, Adbusters, Anonymous or any other organisation. We come from a wide range of beliefs, ideas, opinions, political ideologies and backgrounds, young and old. Occupy Melbourne was directly inspired by Occupy Wall Street and other movements inspiring us to Occupy Together, like Democracia Real Ya in Spain, though Occupy Melbourne exists independently from these movements.

Isn't Australia being illegally occupied already?

It certainly is. When European settlers first declared ownership of the continent of Australia, it was declared "Terra Nullius" or "land belonging to no one", despite the fact that millions of people already sustainably occupied the continent for tens of thousands of years prior to European arrival.

Occupy Melbourne recognises that this demonstration will take place on the land of the Wurundjeri people, of the Woiwurrung language group, of the Kulin nation, who are the traditional owners of the land which Melbourne occupies. We encourage Melbourne's Indigenous community to join in our efforts to peacefully occupy City Square, and to share their grievances and hopes for the future so that we might unite and build a more just Australia together.

The IACP thought they could hold their 2011 annual conference in Chicago
unfettered by the clutches of insurrection. They must not have known their
conference starts on the Day of Action Against Police Brutality. They must not
have known that all over the world people are in the streets demonstrating
discontent with capitalism and the state. They also had no idea that for the
past few months black hat hackers have been owning their websites and databases.
They should have expected us.

In solidarity with the Occupation Movement and the International Day of Action
Against Police Brutality, allied #anonymous and #antisec vessels took aim at the
corrupt bootboys of the 1%: the police. We hacked, defaced, and destroyed
several law enforcement targets, leaking over 600MB of private information
including internal documents, membership rosters, addresses, passwords, social
security numbers, and other confidential data. According to the IACP's
development documents, their systems cost several hundred thousand dollars. We
are pleased to destroy it all for free, leaking their private info and defacing
their websites in one swift blow.

We attacked MatrixGroup.net, a multi-million dollar Washington DC based web
development firm, which serves over a hundred government, corporate and
association websites. Many lulz have been had as we owned their white hat
"professional" intranet, clients and employee wiki portals-- accessing records
and passwords, internal communications, company schedules, and development notes
for over a hundred clients. We intentionally excluded the unions and other
unrelated sites on their servers because, unlike the police and those who
support them, we will never betray our working class comrades. We realize our
role in the social struggle against capital and against the state, deciding
instead to set our sights on the police, military and other government websites
hosted by Matrix.

Our lulzboats also took aim at Boston Police in retaliation for the unprovoked
mass arrests and brutality experienced by those at Occupy Boston. We hacked the
Boston Police Patrolmens' Association (www.bppa.org), releasing full names and
the cleartext, user-supplied passwords for a thousand members. Many lulz have
been had while perusing their emails and facebook accounts, and we are now
sharing their passwords for others so they can join in on the mayhem as well.
Let this be a warning to BPD and police everywhere: future acts of aggression
against our movements will be met with a vengeance so epic and relentless that
your children's children will puke at the sight of swine.

After exhausting both sides of Milli Vanillis' "Girl You Know It's True" tape,
we also decided to attack Alabama law enforcement systems, releasing the names,
addresses, and social security numbers for 1000 Birmingham / Jefferson County
police officers as well as defacing and destroying the website
SherrifOfBaldwin.com. We are attacking Birmingham specifically because of their
notorious racial discriminatory practices including the savage beatings and mass
arrests endured by civil rights protesters during the 60s. Although we had
records of inmates, active warrant names, addresses, charges and social security
numbers the thought of releasing them never crossed our mind because we would
never betray our brothers and sisters shackled and chained behind prison walls--
our targets are the ones who beat and murder with immunity, the cowardly
carcases and lifeless hosts of power who hide behind a badge.

We are also acting in solidarity with the dozens of alleged "Anonymous" members
around the world facing charges for "hacking," including the Paypal LOIC
defendants in San Jose, Commander X, Recursion, Topiary, Stephen Watt, and more.
We are acting in solidarity with the thousands of prisoners in California on
Hunger Strike fighting for better living conditions and an end to prolonged
solitary confinement. We also call for the IMMEDIATE RELEASE of not only
political prisoners(Leonard Peltier, Mumia Abu Jamal, the MOVE 9, the Angola 3,
and more) but all prisoners everywhere including all Jon Burge torture survivors
still behind bars.

We are attacking the police because they are the vicious boot boys of the 1%
whose role in society is to protect the interests and assets of the rich ruling
class. They are not part of the 99%-- they are working class traitors who are
paid to intimidate, harass, and repress political movements that would possibly
stand a threat to the power structure of the 1%. We have no problem targeting
police and releasing their information even if it puts them at risk because we
want them to experience just a taste of the brutality and misery they serve us
on an everyday basis. We hope those working for the police who have any humanity
left refuse their orders and leak the police and their commanding officer's
vital secrets and dirt. We must realize that police are no allies of ours and
have violently attacked our movements all across the world throughout history.

In Chicago, where the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference
is taking place, the CPD has a particularly bloody and ruthless history of
brutality and repression of political movements. Throughout the 70s and 80s
under Jon Burge (chief detective) and former Mayor Richard M. Daley (prosecuter
at the time), dozens of CPD detectives many whom are still on the force tortured
hundreds of innocent black men, forcing confessions and giving out decades-long
prison sentences for crimes never committed. The CPD also operates notorious
"red squad" COINTELPRO operations that attempts to discredit and disrupt
revolutionary groups-- including the assassination of Black Panther Party
leaders Fred Hampton and Mark Clark. This repression continues today as they
beat and arrested over 900 protesters when the second War in Iraq broke out, and
just over a year ago dozens of protest organizers were raided by the FBI for
alleged affiliation with resistance movements. The CPD just announced a new
'counter-terrorism' operation (taking tips from the NYPD playbook) likely to
target protest organizers for the upcoming G8 and NATO conferences in May.
Although they try to intimidate us by training over 13,000 riot police for these
protests, we believe that they are the truly the frightened ones, and perhaps
for good reason: the high profile hacks will continue, and the protests against
the 1% are growing every day.

We are 99%. We are the working class that makes society function. We are not
intimidated by the States attempts to disrupt our resistance through unprovoked
arrests and harassments. As the violence of the cops, the courts, the FBI, La
Migra, and Homeland Security intensifies, so must our resistance: we will
continue to bring the ruckus on the streets and on the internet. We are
believers and practitioners of direct action against all governments,
militaries, banks, corporations, and police working towards our revolutionary
goal: the immediate dissolution of capitalism and the state.

Hackers, join us to make 2011 the year of leaks and revolutions!

and society will fall!!" - Renzo Novatore
