A Reminder For Sony In Regard To DDOS For Censorship Being Imposed

It seems sony and SOE in particular is trying to be your MOTHER and tell you what you can and can not do after YOU payed THEM to play?! ... WE CALL THIS CENSORSHIP KIDS..In the hit title DC Universe online i noticed sony has started a foul market tactic. The game introduced a profanity filter that misleads end users into believing they have freedom of speech while under a SOE TOS...FALSE its what we like to call a MARKETING BAN TRAP at best. NOT ONLY does soe impose censorship and ban you for using profanity even though they ALLOW YOU TO READ IT?! lol go figure... But after getting banned if you call them and tell them off about it as a angry paying end user they will perma ban your account i tested this recently b4 a vote went up to start ddos back up against soe. 

The censorship you impose WILL HAVE RAMIFICATIONS... LEST WE FORGET?

Sony Enlists DDoS Defense Firm to Combat Hackers

Earlier in the week, a part of the hacking collective Anonymous declared war on Sony and brought down several of the company’s sites as well as the PlayStation Network. By using a form of a DDoS attack, the grouptemporarily crippled Sony’s online infrastructure, but now Sony is fighting back, recruiting a specialist firm that has successfully thwarted Anonymous’ attempts. At least the websites (not the psn)

Anti-DDoS specialists, Prolexic Technologies were brought on by Sony to stop the mass attack of the site’s servers:

Speaking on the Anonymous IRC, several members expressed their frustration at the new defenses, which have (mostly) managed to stop the websites being taken down at least:

Of course, while Sony and Prolexic have gained the upper-hand at the moment, the tide could quickly turn back in the hacker’s favor should they vote up on more attacks in larger numbers, with some of them working on either bringing down the company’s site, or defacing it (replacing the site or a site page with their own), with users saying:

and that would still be hard
