Rebug 3.55.1 CFW with PS3 Update Package 0.1 & Privacy Patch

http://consolecrunch.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/rebug.png
PlayStation 3 hacker wmxp released an unofficial Rebug 3.55.1 CFW with PS3 Update Package 0.1 and Privacy Patch for use with official Rebug Custom Firmware. This is an unofficial patch, and everything it does can be accomplished using official REBUG tools, I repeat it is not an official 3.55.2 REBUG.
Download: Rebug 3.55.2 Privacy Patch for PS3 CFW

From the ReadMe file: This patch will take the original Rebug 3.55.1 PUP file and update it with both the official Update 0.1 and official Rebug Privacy Patch. NO other changes have been made! This is a diff patch only!

AS THE REBUG TEAM HAVE STATED: "If you choose to post links to our software that does not directly link to rebug.me we will seriously consider not release anything relating to the PS3. This includes Rebug and future versions of Rebug. We rely on visitors to our site that visit our ad sponsors to help offset the cost of the server."

DO NOT MIRROR EITHER THE ORIGINAL REBUG FIRMWARE OR THE PATCHED OUTPUT FILE THIS CREATES! GET THE OFFICIAL REBUG FIRMWARE FROM: rebug.me

The newly patched REBUG_355.1_PS3UPDAT.PUP should have a MD5 of: 7ED26897FA53D1925D385EB188A56D47

Also remember to use the Rebug selector to switch back to normal mode before installing, otherwise the version spoof will prevent 3.55 from being reinstalled.

The privacy patch scans and edits all the PS3's system files looking for any reference to a Sony and/or affiliate domain, and replaces it with "aaaaaaaaaaa", leaving the extension intact.
The list of blocked domains:

playstation.com
playstation.net
playstation.org
sony.com
sony.co.jp
bitwallet.co.jp
qriocity.com
trendmicro.com
allmusic.com
intertrust.com
marlin-drm.com
marlin-tmo.com
oasis-open.org
octopus-drm.com

Example: qriocity.com becomes aaaaaaaaaaa.com in the system files. With this patch applied you cannot connect to PSN, do a system update via Internet, receive any game patches directly from starting a game, and most importantly, get all your personal user data sent to Sony.

The PS3 phones home *ALL* the time. Every last program you run is stored in a log called the "pushlist" (google it), and regularly uploaded to Sony's servers. Every website your visit, every change you make... your entire play history is sent to Sony on regular intervals. Even while your PS3 is sitting idle, it's phoning home. This has been covered numerous times before.

As an awesome bonus, Multiman's game update feature does not go through the firmware system files, and will still download game update packages just fine with this installed. This for me, is ideal.

To check if the patch is working, try clicking Online Instruction Manuals, and take a look at the url at the top. It should read: "http://manuals.aaaaaaaaaaa.net"

Trying to login to PSN, check for updates via internet or anything else that tries to connect to Sony's servers will popup with a DNS error.

PS3 Rebug CFW developer Cyberskunk added the following, to quote: "This works but is unofficial and will not be supported by Codename: Rebug Team.. THERE IS NO REBUG 3.55.2 EVEN WITH THIS PATCH.."
