Welcome Back Program Goes Live - Select Your Two Free Games and 100 free Ps Home Items For 30 Days

Do you like free outdated titles, of which you probably already own? Well, Sony thought you might and today the "Welcome Back" program has gone live. The program is Sony's form of apology for the excessive amount of PSN downtime last month. The program allows you to choose two of the following titles, of which you'll get to keep for free: Dead Nation, InFAMOUS, LittleBigPlanet, Super Stardust HD, or WipEout HD Bundle.

In addition, you will be able to download two PSP games from the following list: Killzone: Liberation, ModNation Racers, LittleBigPlanet, or Pursuit Force. You will also now be able to sign up for your 30 days of free PlayStation Plus and you will have the opportunity to receive 100 free virtual PlayStation Home items.

European users, do not fear! PlayStation EU have given the following statement:
  • We are still putting our Welcome Back content for Home together and will communicate this soon. Check back here for more details – our aim is to give away content that has not been available before.
highlights of the PlayStation Home American Welcome Back package include:
  • Novus Prime: Escalation mission pack
  • The Mansion: Garage
  • Dragon’s Lair Apartment
  • Select pieces of Lockwood Cucumber furniture
  • Sunshine Heavy Pet Peep

The Ooblag casino will also be arriving in the NA region of Home sometime in June, keep an eye out for it, you’ll be rewarded an additional free game upon entering this new area.
